Her father was a cop, her grandfather was a cop and although Praetoria went into the military, that's where she drew her experience.

From a large family of six brothers and sisters (seven counting herself), her parents, Freeman and Jocelyn Faraji, always figured their middle daughter would be a model. She even had modeling gigs during high school and it paid for most of her college. And then with her participation in the show "Top Model", coming in second, it garnered her accolades enough to make it her career if she so chose, however the lure of "Defend and Protect" still lingered in her blood. And so, she bagged the whole catwalk thing and enrolled in the police academy.

She excelled in marksmanship and it was during the academy the Colonial Military came around and made their pitch. She was hooked and upon graduation, she leapt into the fray of military life. Her father was a bit disappointed, but in addition to being a cop, he had also instilled in his family a sense of patriotism and therefore could not fault her choice in careers.

And so, with both mother and father's blessings, she joined the Marines and became a sharpshooting MP. Something no one ever envisioned for this one time model and sister to six.
