Family & Childhood
The firstborn child of a wealthy Virgon brewing family, the Jaxxons, Cora had little to no difficulties in life throughout her childhood. The only issue was that she wasn't a boy, and her father Char Jaxxon was firmly, stubbornly set on a male Jaxxon continuing the family legacy. He and Meliana Jaxxon tried again, and this time succeeded with Lan Jaxxon approximately two years after Cora's birth. It didn't matter so much to her when they were little, as two siblings got along splendidly - but the older she got, the more she realized that Lan was indeed the favorite to keep the family line continuing on. She tried not to let her disappointment show and threw herself into her academics - and did fairly well. Well enough to be praised by her mathematics teacher and taken under her wing.
Education
With her instructor's urging and parents' ambivalent blessing, Cora attended university to study mathematics and computer science. She soon fell in love with the field of cryptology - essentially the science of codes - which mixed two of her favorite subjects together.
Employment
Shortly after graduation she was hired to work for Virgon's Intelligence Department - which didn't last long. Instead of staying on her home planet, she was contracted out to work on the Support Station as a Cryptologist - much to her parents' sudden horror of their oldest daughter being completely and totally away from home. Cora, on the other hand, is presently enjoying the opportunities to meet all sorts of new people and put her skills to good use.
