[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "Wrongway, Rabbit…all lights green. over"

[Tac1] It seems the Colonel is not in a good mood at the moment. His voice growls over the comm unit. "Your asses are on swabbie duty. Launch those S&R's."

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Rabbit, you are go for launch. Get in the air."

[Tac1] Skip says, "This is Hound. All set to get going."

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Hound, you have a green light. Get your bird in the air."

[RAPTOR_1122: Reeves] Doreen's trusters lets out a stacato of bursts as it moves in a circle to end up just off to the left hand side of the latest Raptor to leave the Genesis. Inside the cockpit, Rabbit gives a thumbs up to the other pilots out there.

[RAPTOR_108: Warwick] Turning his Raptor to get in place on the other side of the lead ship, Warwick grimaces slightly as he keeps on flying. Turning momentarily to glance back to the cabin of the ship.

[RAPTOR_122: Rue] Raptor 122 is a little wobbly coming off the launchpad, but straightens out and takes point. Wrongway eyes Rabbit from her cockpit and just grins, raises a hand and points to her imaginary watch.

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "Wrongway, Rabbit..picking you up clear on the DRAIDIS..I've got your six. over"

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Rabbit, Hound. Wrongway. Plot your jumps."

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "Wrongway, Rabbit..FTL charged, green light..awaiting your mark. over."

[Tac1] "Hound" Warwick says, "Wrongway, Hound. Jump plotted and all set for the trip. Just give the word."

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Jumping on my mark. *extended pause* Mark."

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "Wrongway, Rabbit..picking you up clear on the DRAIDIS..I've got your six. over"

[RAPTOR_1122: Reeves] Doreen appears in time and space once again, in a flashing white light. Still located just off on the right hand side of the lead Raptor.

Once the jump is over, something hard is pounding against the raptors. When the brain catches up - bodies and debris are floating. The arm of a dead marine slams into 1122's canopy. The grimace of a burned face looms in front of 122.

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "What the frakk?"

[RAPTOR_108: Warwick] Similarily reappearing on the opposite side of the lead, Warwick's Raptor is where it's supposed to be. The pilot inside frowning as he sees what's floating around.

[Tac1] "Hound" Warwick says, "I have a bad feeling about this…"

[RAPTOR_1122: Reeves] Barely a second after the first bumb against the side of Doreen, the search light int its nose is turned on and sweeps over the space ahead. The pilot also takes pre-emptive measures and a few bursts off its thrusters widdens the space between it and the lead raptor.

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "And we're—Gods! … Gods have mercy. Floodlights, people. Check your DRADIS and let's move on to the Assaultstar. Now."

As the S&R Raptors approach the Assaultstar, it can be seen that the ship is in distress. The sudden explosion from one of the center landing bays, belches out a sudden cloud of fire and smoke. Broken chatter hits Tac3, calling for help. The screams of those in pain and dying crackle across the TAC.

Flak and metal goes flying off the port side and the front end of a viper slings itself out into space, the rest of it coming in behind like firey arrows shot from some distended catapult. Not long after, bodies follow, some torn to shreds, some whole, but like broken dolls in flight. Another burst of explosion extends outwards and more pieces are sent flying toward the incoming Raptors.

<SkillRolls> <Trait Roll> Reeves rolls Awareness and achieves a degree of Poor (1).

<SkillRolls> <Trait Roll> Rue rolls Awareness and achieves a degree of Poor (1).

<SkillRolls> <Trait Roll> Warwick rolls Awareness and achieves a degree of Fair (3).

[RAPTOR_108: Warwick] Getting the lights on, Warwick brings the Raptor into a sharp roll to the side. Which is probably good, because one of those pieces of metal comes just where the Raptor was a few moments earlier.

[RAPTOR_1122: Reeves] The searchlight of Doreen sweeps through the now debrie filled space as it makes its way towards the assaultstar. It zig zags its way through some of the larger parts. Suddenly the thrusters flares into full gear as Doreen tries to swirl away from something.

A large piece of -something- slams into the side of the Raptor, sparks or metal against metal can be seen mixed with the blue electrical discharges that comes from the apparent damage.

[RAPTOR_122: Rue] The bodies are distracting. The explosion? Unexpected. Wrongway's raptor gets sideswiped by some of that debris, metal slamming into the side of the raptor and sending it reeling.

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "Wrong *static* dama *static*"

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Evasi*blrhlsjljljlkjgkjlkjg* Watch the explosive decomp*jkljlkjkljlj*"

[Tac1] "Hound" Warwick says, "Frak! Everyone okay?"

The Assaultstar looks almost as if it is tilting, but it could be the disorientation of the damage going on. Behind the Raptors, the Flattop jumps in. Too big to dodge anything, pieces of flak and bodies go skidding across his bow. The Captain starts yelling for his crew to ready up for damage control on the abused ship and prepare.

[Tac1] "Rabbit" Reeves says, "*ssdlugrewasrew* Rabb *reasgres* Sys *treastreyfd*"

[Tac1] "Wrongway" Rue says, "Let's get*zzzzzzzzz* line of fire. Starboard *bbzzzzz*ing bay!"

[RAPTOR_1122: Reeves] The lights inside Doreen's cockpit lights up and anyone paying attention can see Rabbit giving a thumbs up in the direction of the other Raptors.

With some electrical blue sparks still emitting from the side, Doreen steadies herself in space and then starts to move towards the Assaultstar once again.

[RAPTOR_122: Rue] Wrongway's raptor moves almost immediately after being struck, thrusters moving it forward towards the starboard landing pod and inside.

[RAPTOR_108: Warwick] Having recovered from the roll, Warwick brings his Raptor towards the Assaultstar again, frowning a bit. Ready to dodge whatever else that might come in.
