Chief Medical Officers Office Genesis - Deck 13
4 ACH 6735 Souls

The office of the Chief Medical Officer is a small room, used mostly for consultations and review of sensitive patient materials than the paperwork of the Medical department, which goes through the Naval Administrative offices. Still somehow it has file cabinets along one wall stuffed full of papers, two chairs in front of a desk behind which a large leather chair is set. On the desk sits a computer terminal.

Zaharis is in his office, a rare occurence, but he's getting in some quick work on his computer. A cup of coffee sits getting cold and long forgotten as he sifts through files both on his desk and on his screen.

There is a small drumming of fingers over the CMO's door before Raul sticks his head in slowly, "Captain?"

Despite the NO SMOKING placard on Zaharis' desk, a cigarette is burning away in a makeshift ashtray. It's not been the only one in recent hours, from the butt count. The CMO turns his attention from the screen to the door, lifting both brows. "Desusa. Come on in."

Desusa does make his way in completely. Shocking or not, the Pandora's CO is holding two bottles of clear brown liquid in his hands. "Captain Zaharis," greets the marine with a small nod before setting the bottles over a nearby file cabinet. "I sent you the medical bay's update from the Pandora last night." Hmm. The two bottles have decorative bows tied to them. Molotov cocktail?

"Yeah, I got it. Thanks." Zaharis nods, sitting back in his chair. "We're getting the Pandora all tricked out for your medics. Got some good equipment off the sublights, they should be done installing everything and be ready to return to kicking ass by tonight."

Desusa nods a few times and smirks, "It's not as glamorous as the Genny's, but it will get the job done." He then grabs one of the bottles sitting on Z's cabinet and begins reading the small label on it's back. "I asked for Eve to keep her station here, since her office space over there was very…," a small pause, "…limited."

"She's Genesis crew now anyway," Zaharis raises his arms, stretching them behind his head. "We'll take care of her. Got her a nice cushy couch and everything. You taking D'Artanion over to the Pandora with you?" He glances at the bottles curiously.

Desusa shakes his head, "Nah. Don't think so, captain. Unless she volunteers." He smiles, "Most of my original battalion are coming back, but there is a significant portion asking to hang back here," he sighs a it and adds, "The few with families don't want to risk too much of their necks, and I understand." He then moves over to Z's desk and sets the bottle down in front of him before he takes a seat. "Figured a hand-shake was not enough to express my gratitue." Top-notch Piconees rum right there.

Zaharis nods at Desusa's talk of his crew, then quirks a dark brow as the bottle lands on his desk. "For me? Awww." Lightly mocking, but the tone vanishes quickly. "Thanks, Captain. And I mean that. I'm going to make sure every hand that went aboard the Pandora with you gets a taste, they deserve it."

Desusa waves his hand dismissively, "It's alright, Captain." He smiles as he passes his hand over his bald head, giving the place a more careful look around. His timepieces beeps just as he was getting comfy on the CM's chair. "Hades, I need to finish setting up back on the Pand," he begins to raise and points with his thumb to the other bottle, "Can I trouble you a bit further and ask you to deliver that the the CHEng? She and her crew did wonders to the old assaultstar."

Zaharis picks up his cigarette as Desusa talks, squeezing the last drag down to the filter and then mashing it out. "Sure will. Be good over there. Probably see you in a couple hours, I'm going over to check on the progress in the bay."

Desusa nods and gives Zaharis a two-fingered salute, "Aye, Captain, I'll make sre the boys mop up properly." He grins and moves out, shutting the door closed gently.
